32 • Press the button as shown in the figure and lift
the hood.
33 • Insert the three pieces of the false motor.
• The false motor is an additional toy for children
who can enjoy themselves putting it together like
a puzzle.
34 • Position the windshield by inserting the three
tabs into the front of the dashboard.
35 • Secure the windshield with the two screws
supplied (one per side).
36 • Join the two parts of the steering wheel (steering
wheel and underlying sleeve) matching the two
pieces.
37 • Assembling the horn:
1- insert the spring;
2- remove the plastic tab from the sound
module. The sound module comes with 3 RL44
batteries and is ready to use.
3- insert the sound module so that the side with
the hole is facing downwards.
38 • Align the notches of the horn cover with the
sleeve and snap fit them onto the steering wheel.
39 • Assemble the steering wheel keeping the shaft
still with the other hand. Make sure the holes in
the steering wheel are aligned with those of the
steering shaft.
40 • Insert the nut in the hexagonal hole of the
steering wheel and the screw in the circular hole.
Tighten until possible.
41 • Connect the battery plug to the plug of the
electrical system.
42 • Position the seat inserting the back of the back
rest into the hole of the bodywork, as shown in
the figure (1). Rotate the seat into position (2).
43 • Before attaching the seat completely, make sure
you have moved the two seatbelts on either side
of it.
44 • Secure the seat by rotating the pin with the help
of a tool or a coin.
A: saddle open
B: saddle closed.
45 • Remove the remote control the box. Mount the
antenna by screwing it into place.
46 • Using a screwdriver, remove the screw at the
bottom of the remote control and open the
battery compartment.
47 • Insert two 1.5 V AA batteries - not supplied - in
the compartment, observing the correct polarity.
Then, close the battery compartment lid and
replace the screw.
48 • Place the remote control in the glove box inside
the car.
• Stick on the remaining stickers as numbered.
• The vehicle is ready to use. Place both hands on
the steering wheel and press the accelerator
pedal with your foot.

FOR USE
49 • CABIN:
A: remote control / glove compartment.
B: horn with real Fiat 500 sounds
C: ON / OFF ignition key for "remote control
drive mode" or "independent guide mode" (see
relevant chapters).
D: Gear lever (1 speed + reverse)
E: Electric accelerator/brake pedal Lifting the foot
off the pedal automatically activates the break.
50 • SEAT BELTS: the belts are adjustable and lock
into position with a simple click. To unfasten the
seat belts, press the sides of the buckle (as
shown) and simultaneously pull the buckles in
the opposite direction from each other.
51 • MOTOR COMPARTMENT: if the false motor is
removed, this compartment can be used for
storage.
52 • keeping the gear lever pushed forward makes the
vehicle reverse. Warning: the left hand must
always be on the steering wheel to avoid
collisions.
INDEPENDENT DRIVE MODE
WARNING: THE REMOTE CONTROL MUST BE
USED BY ADULTS ALONE.
53 • When the ON/OFF ignition key is in the position
shown in the figure, the vehicle can be driven
only by the child in independent mode, using the
steering wheel and the accelerator pedal.
REMOTE CONTROL DRIVE MODE
WARNING: THE REMOTE CONTROL IS NOT A TOY;
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN!
54 • When the ON/OFF ignition key is in the position
shown in the figure, the vehicle can be driven
only via the remote control.
55 • SWITCHING ON THE REMOTE CONTROL:
Move the panel on the rear of the remote control
to access the switch. Position the switch to ON.
56 • USING THE REMOTE CONTROL: Fully extend
the radio control antenna.
• By pressing the trigger in the direction indicated
by the arrow (A), the vehicle will moving
forward;
• By moving the trigger in the opposite direction
(R), the vehicle will reverse.
57 • By turning the mini steering wheel to the right
or to the left, the vehicle will travel in the
respective directions.
• To return to the INDEPENDENT DRIVE
MODE, turn the ON/OFF ignition key to OFF.
NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT PERFORM THIS
OPERATION, THE VEHICLE WILL NOT ENTER
INDEPENDENT DRIVE MODE.
WARNING: THE REMOTE CONTROL SHOULD
IN NO WAY BE INTENDED AS A SAFETY DEVICE
AND, THEREFORE, MUST IN NO WAY REPLACE
THE SUPERVISION OF AN ADULT AND THE
NEED TO BE CLOSE TO THE TOY IN THE CASE
OF DANGER.
REPLACEMENT OF LR44 BATTERIES
58 • The horn works with 3 button cell LR44
batteries in the sound module. To replace them,
unlock the sleeve and the horn cover by pushing
the fastening tabs from under the steering
wheel.
59 • Extract the sound module and loosen the screw
of the cover of the battery compartment.
60 • Remove the flat batteries and replace them with
new batteries of the same kind. Ensure polarity
is right. Re-assemble all the parts.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
NOTE: THE BATTERY DRAWINGS ARE
APPROXIMATE. YOUR BATTERY MAY DIFFER
FROM THE MODEL SHOWN. THIS WILL NOT
AFFECT THE SEQUENCE OF OPERATIONS
INVOLVED IN REPLACING AND CHARGING THE
BATTERY.
61 • Rotate the fixing lock of the seat. Remove the
seat. Loosen the screws of the battery holder.
Disconnect the battery plug from the plug of the
electrical system. Remove the flat battery.
62 • Insert the new 6V/4.5 Ah battery into the
compartment. Put the battery holder back into
place. Tighten the screws. Reconnect the plugs.
Put the seat back into place. Fasten the seat by
rotating the pin to the locking position.
RECHARGING THE BATTERY
NOTE: CHARGING THE BATTERY AND ALL
OPERATIONS INVOLVING THE ELECTRICAL
SYSTEM MUST BE PERFORMED BY ADULTS ONLY.
THE BATTERY MAY BE CHARGED WITHOUT
REMOVING IT FROM THE TOY.
63 • Disconnect plug A of the electrical system from
plug B of the battery by pressing on the side.
64 • Put the plug of the battery charger into an
electricity socket in the house following the
annexed instructions. Connect plug B with plug
C of the battery charger.
65 • Once charging is complete, unplug the charger
from the wall outlet, then unplug terminal C
from terminal B.
66 • Insert plug B right into plug A until it snaps into
place. When you have finished, always remember
to fasten the seat by rotating the pivot into the
locking position.
