• Press the Hold button to hold an active call; "Hold: <callee number>"
(without angular brackets) is displayed on your phone's LCD, whereas
"Held: <caller number>" is displayed on the called party's LCD.
• Press the Flash softkey to make some other call when there is already an
active call, thereby putting the former call on hold.
• Press Flash softkey to pick up an incoming waiting call when there is
already an active call, thereby putting the former call on hold.
Note -
Whenever the caller puts a call on hold, then the corresponding line key
icon changes to
hold, then your line icon changes to

Retrieving a call from hold:

Press the Hold key again if the call were originally put on hold using the Hold
key. If the call were originally put on hold using the Flash softkey, press the
Flash softkey again in order to retrieve the call.

Activating Mute

By activating Mute you stop transmitting voice to the other party. You can use
mute key on handset, handsfree, or headset calls.
• While you are in a call, press Mute key to turn off the microphone. The
Mute LED indicator flashes when the microphone is off.
• Press the Mute key again to turn on the microphone.
• The microphone remains muted for your current call and all other calls
until you press Mute key again to turn on the microphone.

Hanging Up

Hang up means disconnecting calls. There could be one or more ongoing calls
on your phone at the same time. Any of the active calls may be disconnected
using the Hngup softkey or by other methods as explained below:
• Press Hngup softkey to disconnect the currently active call in any mode.
• In speaker-phone mode, press Handsfree button.
(We Hold), whereas when the other party puts a call on
(You Hold).
