Your handset screen shows
Calling VTECH X. The destination device rings

and displays Other handset is calling or VTECH X is
calling.
. To answer the intercom call, press
/SPEAKER SPEAKER, MOBILE 1 or MOBILE 2 on the
destination handset. Both handsets now show
Intercom.
3. To end the intercom call, presses END,
OFF/
CLEAR
telephone base or charger. Both handsets display
Intercom ended.
Notes:
• Before the intercom call is answered, you can
cancel it by pressing
• If the called device is not answered within 100
seconds, or accessing the phonebook or call log, or
is on a call, or is out of range, the initiating device
shows No answer. Try again.
• To temporarily silence the intercom ringer, press
OFF/CLEAR or MUTE/DELETE on the handset.
• You can only use one pair of devices at a time to
make intercom calls.
