Connecting external devices to the USB ports
You can connect a wide range of external devices to the USB port (e.g. printer, scanner, modem or
keyboard).
Devices with USB interfaces are hot-pluggable. This allows cables from those devices to

be connected and disconnected with the system switched on.

The devices you connect to the USB port usually require no driver of their own, as the
required software is already included in the operating system. However, if the device
