The lower part shows how to realize a system that
provides independent timed and thermostatic
control of heating and hot water.
In Fig. 6.17 the boiler is permanently connected to
the main supply. The boiler operation is controlled
by the external control terminal block.
In Fig. 6.18 the boiler is not permanently con-
nected to the supply line. The boiler operation is
controlled by switching the mains supply.
In this case, when the boiler is switched off some
important features like the antifreeze system, the
monitoring of the boiler by the operation lights, the
post circulation of the pump, etc. are completely
deactivated.
For these reasons it is advisable to use the first dia-
gram (Fig. 6.17).
