Using Voice Recognition

This recorder is equipped with a voice recognition function. This function allows you to perform
actions, such as making the date and time settings and changing folder names, automatically
just by speaking into the built-in microphone and without any complicated key input. While the
recorder is in stop mode, you can also switch to each mode or access a setting item in a menu
using voice recognition.
The voice recognition function can be used when setting up functions which have a [
in this manual.

Switching the mode

This function can be used when in [Home],
[Menu], [Recorder], [Music], [DAISY], [Text
Speech], or [Scheduler] mode.

While the recorder is in stop
mode, press and hold the SCENE/
VOICE button.

Say the mode to which you want
to switch directly into the built-in
microphone.
