Possible cause
[Off] has been selected for [Rec
Monitor].
The maximum number of marks
(99) has been reached.
The file is locked.
The file is a read-only file.
Other than the specified battery
is used.
The [USB Settings] is set to
[Composite].
When connecting to the PC, [AC
Adapter] was selected.
The Wi-Fi ON/OFF switch of the
voice recorder is set to ON.
The [Transcription Mode] setting
is [On].
The voice recorder is not turned
ON.
The Wi-Fi ON/OFF switch of the
voice recording is set to OFF.
The Wi-Fi setting on the
connected device is incorrect.
The voice recorder is in a location
that radio signals cannot reach.
The Wi-Fi ON/OFF switch of the
voice recorder is set to ON.
Solution
Select [On] for [Rec Monitor] (☞ P.72).
Erase unneeded marks (☞ P.53).
You must unlock the file before you can
erase it (☞ P.77).
Unlock the file, or undo the read-only
setting on a PC.
Use the specified battery (LI-50B).
Set the [USB Settings] to [Storage Class]
(☞ P.83).
When transferring data to the PC, select
[PC] (☞ P.110).
Turn OFF the Wi-Fi ON/OFF switch on the
voice recorder (☞ P.85).
Set the [Transcription Mode] setting to
[Off] (☞ P.76).
Turn the power ON (☞ P.16).
Turn ON the Wi-Fi ON/OFF switch on the
voice recorder (☞ P.85).
In the [Wi-Fi] setting, select [Wi-Fi
connection]. Check the SSID and password
(☞ P.85).
Check for obstacles between the voice
recorder and access point.
Turn OFF the Wi-Fi ON/OFF switch on the
voice recorder (☞ P.85).
