To control the overspeed alarm
The overspeed alarm alerts you if you are moving the machine faster than 100% of the motor capacity and
therefore are quilting too fast for stitch regulation to work properly.
1. Touch the alarm button to turn it on or off. It is on when it appears gold with the sound-wave symbols.
It is off when it appears gray.
2. Press the Home button to return to the Main screen.
To set the quilting alarm
After you enable the quilting alarm, the time begins to count down. This alarm measures elapsed time,
not machine quilting time. The example below shows 57 minutes and 23 seconds are remaining before the
alarm will sound.
1. Specify the amount of time that will elapse before the alarm will go off. Fine tune the alarm setting by
pressing the plus (+) or minus (–) buttons which changes the alarm setting by one minute at a time.
2. Touch the alarm icon to turn on the quilting alarm. When the time has elapsed, an alarm will sound.

The Timers screen enables you to track the amount of time you work on a quilt and to track the number of
stitches on a quilt.
Touch the alarm icon to turn on or off the quilting
alarm. It appears gold when enabled.
• Touch the Tools icon in the toolbar. Then touch the Timers button. Press the
Home button to return to the Main screen.
