Flash
Press F instead
of pressing the
switchhook to
activate services such
as Call Waiting or
3-Way Calling. You
may have to press
other buttons before
or after F as
explained in the
custom-calling
instructions
provided by your
local telephone
company.
Make a Call
Press a LINE button
and lift the handset
— OR —
Press K
— OR —
Press h, then
dial the call.
Answer a Call
Press a LINE button
and lift the handset
— OR —
Press K
— OR —
Press h.
End a Call
Hang up
— OR —
Press K (if on
speakerphone call)
— OR —
Press h(if on
Redial
headset call).
Press L or l,
then lift the handset
— OR —
Press K
— OR —
Press h, then press
a to call the the
last number (up to 24
digits) dialed on the line.
Line Status Lights
Red on: line in use
Red flashing: line on hold
Green flashing: line ringing
Temporary Tone
If you have dial pause (rotary) service you can change from pulse
to tone dialing during a call by pressing t.
1 Dial the telephone number.
2 Press t. All buttons pressed after this send tone signals.
3 After you hang up, the phone returns to pulse dialing.

RINGER Volume
Set each switch
to OFF, LO or HI.
You can dial and
answer calls
normally with
one or both
switches set
to OFF.
Hold
Press to put a line on
hold. You can hang
up the handset. To
return to the call,
press the appropiate
LINE button and
lift the handset

Press h
— OR —
Press K
— OR —
Lift the handset of
an extension phone
on the same line.
Light is on when
MUTE is active.
Mute
Press to prevent the
other party from hearing
you. Press again to return
to conversation.
Handset/Speakerphone/
Headset Volume
While on a call press
VOLUME + to increase,
or VOLUME - to
decrease volume.
Appropriate light goes
on when headset or
speakerphone is in use.
