LED DIaGNOSTICS
The function of each LED is as follows:
A - Turns on when the incoming Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal is logical high. The LED will seem to
become brighter as the incoming PWM approaches 100% because it is flashing at a greater rate than
the human eye can see. This LED is speed sensitive, and will be on when the motor is turning.
B - Turns on when the voltage regulator on the transformer secondary attached to Chassis Ground that
supplies the control panel outputs power. This indicates that the low voltage transformer is working and
implies that there is enough power to turn the control panel on and that the "cold" side electronics are
active. This LED should always be on when the lower board is active.
C - Flashes each time the magnet passes the step sensor. This indicates that the pedal sensor is working
and communicating with the motor controller. Does not indicate that the control panel is receiving the
pedal feedback. This LED will also be on when treadles are parallel.
D - Flashes each time a magnet passes the speed sensor. This indicates that the speed sensor is working
and communicating with the motor controller. Does not indicate that the control panel is receiving the
speed feedback. This LED will also flash when you manually advance the treadle belt.
E - Lights when the control panel commands the relay to turn on. This indicates that power is present at
the relays to energize them. It implies that the motor controller and the control panel are communicating.
If safety key is in, and power is on this LED should be lit.
F - Turns on when the current flowing through the motor reaches the circuit set maximum. This indicates
that the system is loaded to or beyond its capacity. This LED is normally off.
G - Turns on when the transformer secondary that is attached to power ground outputs power. This
indicates that the low voltage transformer is working and implies that the "hot side" control electronics
are active. If the machine is plugged in and turned on this LED should be lit.
