E3- If AC/HP Control cannot properly read outdoor temperature, and it is
needed for proper operation, display w ill indicate " --" in theoutdoor
temperature location.

not. T his can bevery confusing totroubleshoot. Verify t hat b oth parts h ave t he
same model and serial number when t roubleshooting the thermostat.
