Top Vent Configuration with Vertical Termination

The termination must fall within the shaded area shown in the chart. Use the indicated restrictor and
diffuser positions.
Up to four elbows (45° or 90°) may be used.
Only one horizontal elbow may be used (see illustration at the bottom of the page).
May use 8" or 6-5/8" diameter vent (see page for 24 details).
Restrictor Position # 3
Diffuser Position # 1 (stock)
This is considered a horizontal
elbow (it does not matter
whether it turns right or left).
It may be a 90° or 45° elbow.
