Problem
I cannot operate recall/flash
functions using the handset when
it is registered to another base unit
(except KX-TGP500 or KX-
TGP550 base unit).
During a conversation, the
following occurs:
– noise is heard.
– the sound is interrupted.
– the sound is delayed.
The sound quality is changed.
Calls are not received.

Problem
Caller information is not
displayed.
The displayed caller information is
not correct.
Caller information is displayed
late.
The name stored in the
phonebook is not displayed fully
while an outside call is being
received.
Cause/solution
L Perform the following during a call.
{MENU} i {REDIAL} i {BACK}
L It may be caused by someone using a computer connected to
the same network as the unit.
L Confirm the speed of Internet connection. The unit requires 100
kbps for each upstream and downstream. If less than 100 kbps
is provided, contact your administrator.
L When you set the repeater mode to "On" (page 43), the sound
is changed from high quality (G.722) to normal quality (G.711 µ-
law, G.711 A-law, G.726 (32k), G.729A) even if calls are not
made via a repeater. Contact your phone system dealer for
further information.
L If the following conditions are all met, the handset will not ring
when a call arrives:
– The handset is in stand-by mode near a DECT repeater.
– Two other handsets are already on calls through the DECT
repeater.
– The two handsets on calls through the DECT repeater are
set so that they will not receive calls from a specific line.
Contact your administrator for details about where to install the
handset and incoming call settings.

L Availability of this service depends on your phone system.

L Caller information may not be correct depending on your phone
system.
L Move closer to the base unit.
L Edit the phonebook entry name to fit in 1 line of text (page 21,
24).
