3.2.6.8 Upper Paper Guide and Top PE Sensor Removal

1. Remove the left and right covers. (See Section 3.2.3.2.)
2. Remove the front panel. (See Section 3.2.3.3.)
3. Remove the upper case. (See Section 3.2.3.4.)
4. Remove the printer mechanism. (See Section 3.2.6.)
5. Remove the plunger and paper bail. (See Section 3.2.6.7)
6. Disconnect the top PE sensor connector (red, 3 pins) from the connector junction board. (See Figure
3-57.)
7. Remove 2 screws (CBS, M4×6) securing the upper paper guide to both frames, then remove the upper
paper guide. (See Figure 3-58.)
8. Remove 2 screws (CPS (SP), M3×8) securing the top PE sensor to the upper paper guide, then remove
the sensor. (See Figure 3-58.)
