Synchronizing the top feed dog

Requirement
With the stitch-length and top feed dog-stroke adjustment levers all at 3 the top feed dog and
the bottom feed dog must work with the same feed motion when the handwheel is turned.

Set adjustment lever 1 at "3".
Push adjustment lever 2 down as far as possible.
Adjust linkage rod 3 (nut 4) in the slot in accordance with the requirement.
