5.16.1 Tray 1/MPT Assembly

1.
Remove the front cover, see "5.2 Front Cover" on page 5-3.
2.
Remove the rear cover, see "5.4 Rear Cover" on page 5-5.
3. Remove the middle cover, see "5.6 Middle Cover" on page 5-7.
4. Remove the top cover, see "5.5 Top Cover" on page 5-6.
5. Remove the left and right covers, see "5.7 Side Cover (Left and Right)" on page 5-8.
6.
Disconnect the MP solenoid and MP sensor connectors from the main board.
7.
Remove the 4 screws from the front of the assembly and remove.

Caution
There is a flexible, mylar paper guide that needs to rest between the metal idler shaft and the feed
rollers when reassembling the Tray 1/MPT assembly.
