attached, the stitch width may need to be
adjusted.
AttachingtheCutter
AttachtheCutter,makingsurethecutter's"arm"
fitsaround the needle bar thumb screw. The
"arm" is the long metal piece on the Cutter,
whichmovesupanddown.
Thigthenthethumbscrew,securingtheCutter.
Slowly turnthehandwheel;theneedleshould
go over the stitch finger on the Cutter. If the
needle is hitting the metal stitch finger then
widenthestitchwidth.Iftheneedleishittingthe
metalsidesthenreducethestitchwidth.Never
useastraightstitch.
SewingInstructions
1. Cut a 1x1-inch notch at top edge of your
fabric. This is necessarybecause the cutter's
bladecutspriortotheneedlestitchinganditis
bestforthemachinetohavematerialunderthe
needlewhilesewing.
2. Place the material OVER the first metal
platform and then UNDER t h e S e c o n d m e t a l
platform.IftheCutterisnotcutting,itisusually
duetothematerialnotbeingplaced OVERthe
firstplatform.
3.Sewslowlyandgentlyguidethematerial.The
Cutterworksbestifapproximatelynomorethan
1inchisbeingtrimmedaway.

El recorta-ladosesunaccesorioquerecorta

Preparacióndelamáquina
Seleccioneunadalassiguientespuntadas:

Seleccione la puntada de acuerdo al

recorta-lados esté puesto, el ancho de la
puntadadebeserajustado.
Colocandoelrecorta-lados
Coloque el recorta-lados asegurándose de
que e l " b r a z o " e s t é ajustado alrededor del
tornillo de labarradelasagujas.El"brazo"
es lapiezalargademetalenlacortadorael
cualsemuevedearribaparaabajo.
Apriete el tornillo asegurando el cortador.
Despacio voltee la rueda/volante; la aguja
debe ir sobre la uñeta de puntada del
cortador.Silaagujaestápegandolealmetal
de la uñeta entonces cambie el ancho la
puntada. Si la aguja está pegandole a los
lados, entonces disminuya el ancho de la
puntada.Nuncausepuntadarecta.

arribadelatela.Estoesnecesarioporquela
cuchilladelrecorta-ladoscortaantesdeque
la aguja cosa y es mejor que la máquina

2.PongalatelaSOBRElaprimeraplataforma
de metal y luego DEBAJO de la segunda
plataforma. Si el recorta-lados no está
cortandosedebealquelatelanoestapuesta
SOBRElaprimeraplataforma.
3.Cosadespacioyguiélatelasuavemente.
El recorta-lados trabaja mejor si sólo se
recorta1pulgadaalavez.
