WARNING:

This child restraint must always face the
rear of the vehicle and be in the fully
reclined position when the child weighs
between 5-35 lbs. (2.3-16 kg) and is less
than one year old.
Never place a child rear-facing in a
seating position with an active
frontal airbag.

your child should be in
the rear-facing position.

Rear-Facing Installation

After deciding whether to use your Vehicle Belts or
LATCH, be sure to read the warnings below as they
pertain to both systems.
To use rear-facing the
child restraint
fully reclined.
To fully recline, pull down
on recline stand and
rotate up into shell.
When LATCH is not
available, fasten LATCH
hooks on side of child
restraint as shown.
Do Not Use the top
anchorage strap in the
rear-facing position.
Hook top anchorage
strap to recline stand
(see "Adjusting the Top
Anchorage Strap"
section).
WARNING:

A loose top anchorage (tether) strap can
result in serious injury or death.
Loose LATCH hooks can result in serious
injury or death.
