Fuel Tank Removal L.H.

1. Turnthe fuel shut-off to the closed position.
2. Disconnect the fuel line of the tank you will be
removing behind the fuel shut-off by sliding the pinch
clamp up the line and pull the line off the barb fitting.
NOTE: Be sure to disconnect the line behind the
shut-off or the fuel in the other tank will drain also.
3. With the tank drained and fuel line disconnected
loosen and remove the two bolts on the inside of the
upper frame.

4. Remove the bolt that is located under the seat just
above where the tank fitting comes thru the frame.
Remove the two bolts on the bottom of the tank just
above the tire.
5. The tank is now ready to be removed. Careful not to
catch the tank fitting on the frame lift and slightly twist the
tank up and away from the unit.

Fuel Tank Removal R.H.

1. Remove the two screws that hold the control panel
onto the tank.
2. With the panel loose disconnect the choke and throttle
cable at the engine.
3. Disconnect the wiring harness from the control panel
and pull out thru the access port on the inside of the
frame under the seat.
4. Repeat the steps above for the left hand tank.
