Better Together over Ethernet (BToE) feature enables the SIP-T22P/SIP-T22 IP phone to
interoperate with the Lync client for third party call control. You can place, answer, and
hold audio calls from your SIP-T22P/SIP-T22 IP phone and the Lync client on your PC/PAD
simultaneously. In order to use BToE, you need to download and install the Yealink BToE
Connector application on your PC/PAD.
This chapter explains how to download and install the Yealink BToE Connector
application, and how to enable and use BToE feature. Topics include:

To enable and use BToE, you need to ensure the following requirements are available
on your PC/PAD:
Microsoft Lync 2013 client
A registered Microsoft Lync user
Obtain a Lync user and sign-in information (user credentials or PIN authentication)
from your system administrator.
Running Windows Vista or later
Administrator privileges are needed to install the Yealink BToE Connector
The Yealink BToE Connector enables you to use BToE feature on your Lync client and
SIP-T22P/SIP-T22 IP phone. You need to download, install, and start the Yealink BToE
Connector application before enabling BToE and pairing your phone with Lync client.

application on your PC/PAD.
