If you enable phone lock feature, available features are limited.
When the locked phone is placing a call:
Pick up the handset or press the Speakerphone key or press any numeric key or press
the line key to enter the dialing screen, enter the phone number, and then press
the Call soft key to place a call.
You cannot search contacts in the dialing screen.
When the locked phone is idle:
Line keys, Numeric keypad, Volume key, Headset Key and Speakerphone keys are
available and other keys on the phone are locked.
When the locked phone receives incoming call:
You can answer or reject the incoming calls only.
When the locked phone engages in a call:
You can place the call on hold, end the call or place a new call only.
Note
Phone status will change to Away after the phone is locked and the phone will revert to
previous status when unlocked. For more information, refer to
page 29.
To change the phone unlock PIN via phone user interface:
1. Press Menu ->Settings->Basic Setting ->Phone Lock.
2. Select Phone Unlock PIN.
3. Press the OK soft key.
4. Enter current Pin in the Current PIN field.
5. Enter the new unlock Pin in the New PIN field.
6. Enter the new unlock Pin again in the Confirm PIN field.

7. ress the Save soft key to change the unlock Pin.
Note
Network unavailable, rebooting or resetting the phone will make you login and configure
the unlock Pin again.
Unlock PIN is configurable via web user interface at the path Settings->Phone Lock.
