Controllo del bilanciere
Controllare il gioco tra bilanciere e relativo perno. Misurare il diame-
tro interno del bilanciere e quello esterno del perno calcolando il
gioco. Gioco massimo 0,1 mm.
Se risulta superiore, sostituire i due bilancieri.
Inspection of rocker arm
Check the clearance between the rockerarm and the rocker arm
shaft. Measure the inner diameter (ID) of the rocker arm and the
outer diameter (OD) of the rocker arm shaft and accurately
determine the clearance. Maximum clearance 0.04 in.
If greater, replace the two rocker arms.
Camma decompressore avviamento
Controllare la camma del decompressore di avviamento e, se
necessario, sostituire quest'ultima.
In presenza di perdite d'olio, sostituire l'anello OR.
Starter decompressor cam
Check the starter decompressor cam, change if needed.
If there is an oil leak, change the o-ring.
Albero a camme
Controllare che le superfici di lavoro degli eccentrici siano prive di
striature, solchi, scalini ed ondulazioni. Le camme troppo usurate
sono spesso la cusa di una irregolare messa in fase che riduce la
potenza del motore. Inserire l'albero a camme tra due contropunte
e con due comparatori verificare la deviazione.
Limite di servizio: 0,1 mm.
Misurare con un micrometro che l'altezza "H" delle camme rientri
nei limiti riportati nella tabella a lato.
Camshaft
Check that cam surfaces are scored, stepped, grooved etc.
Excessively worn cams are often the cause of bad engine timing
thus reducing engine power. Insert the camshaft between two
references and then check deviation using two comparators.
Wear limit: 0.0039 in.
Measure the cam height "H" with a micrometer: the wear limit may
not exceed the value of the side schedule.
