Cause and corrective measures
The cause must be determined by the
SMA Service Line.
Corrective measures:
• Contact the SMA Service Line.
A fault has occurred in the internal
communication of the inverter. The inverter
continues feeding power into the grid.
Corrective measures:
If this event occurs frequently:
• Contact the SMA Service Line.
Inverter input A is defective.
Corrective measures:
• Contact the SMA Service Line.
Inverter input B is defective.
Corrective measures:
• Contact the SMA Service Line.
A temperature sensor in the inverter is faulty.
The inverter interrupts the feed-in operation.
Corrective measures:
• Contact the SMA Service Line.
The ambient temperature sensor is faulty.
The display is not switched off at temperatures
below ‒13°F (‒25°C) and as a result may have
been destroyed. The inverter continues feeding
power into the grid.
Corrective measures:
• Contact the SMA Service Line.
The SD card is not formatted correctly or is
defective. The update failed. The inverter
continues feeding power into the grid.
Corrective measures:
• Re-format the SD card.
• Re-save the files to the SD card.
