Tester

Testing

The following test must be carried out daily by the
tester:

Clean

Cleaning work must be carried out only after
the brake dynamometer or test lane has been
disconnected and secured against unintentional
reconnection.

Do not use high-pressure cleaners.

The following cleaning work must be carried out
daily by the tester:

Brake Brush or vacuum dirt (e. g. stones) off the
dynamometer roller sets to ensure proper operation.

Preventive maintenance

Maintenance work must be carried out only by
trained and instructed service technicians.

The manufacturer recommends an annual
maintenance interval.

Legally required test

Legally required tests for brake testers and test
lanes are subject to the respective national
directives and requirements that apply in the
respective country where operated (in Germany, for
instance, a routine test every 2 years).

The specified tests must be carried out only by the
individuals designated in the respective national
directive (in Germany, for instance, trained and
instructed service technicians).
