Explanation
Battery power is getting low.
Attempt to delete a locked file.
The file is full of index marks (maximum of 32
marks).
The folder is full of files (maximum of 200 files).
The destination folder already has the maximum
number of files (200).
An error occurred while erasing.
An incompatible card was inserted.
The card cannot be used with this recorder.
The card has no remaining memory.
There was an error while formatting the card.
System error detected in the recorder.
There is no card inserted.
The management file cannot be created due to
insufficient space on the card.
Action
Charge the batteries or replace with new
batteries (☞ P.12, P.14, P.15).
Unlock the file from the file menu (☞ P.42).
Erase index marks that are no longer required
(☞ P.38).
Erase unnecessary files (☞ P.32).
Erase unnecessary files (☞ P.32).
Erase once again.
When an Erase Error occurs format the card .
Insert a compatible card (☞ P.19).
Please remove the card.
Erase files that are no longer required or insert
another card.
Reformat the card (☞ P.50).
This is a malfunction. Contact the place of
purchase or Olympus Service Center for repair.
Insert a card (☞ P.19).
Connect the recorder to a computer and delete
