DRIVER SUPPORT SYSTEMS

City Safety
City Safety alerts the driver of obstructions using visual and
audible signals. The brakes will be applied automatically if
the driver does not react in time. City Safety can e.g., help
prevent a collision and assist the driver if there is a risk of
colliding with another vehicle, a pedestrian or a cyclist.
City Safety is activated automatically when the engine is
started.
Park Assist Pilot (PAP)*
PAP assists in parking by e.g., scanning a potential parking
space and thereafter helping to guide the vehicle into the
space. The driver will be prompted to select the appropriate
gear, control the vehicle's speed, apply the brakes and stop
the vehicle.
Parking
1. Tap
Park in
in the center display's Function view. The
vehicle's speed may not exceed 20 mph (30 km/h)
during parallel parking or 12 mph (20 km/h) for perpen-
dicular parking.
2. Be prepared to stop the vehicle when prompted by a
graphic and text in the center display.
3. Select

Parallel parking

put the gear selector in R.
4. Follow the instructions on the center display and be
prepared to stop the vehicle when prompted to do so.
Leaving a parking space
Park out
1. Tap
in Function view.
2. Follow the instructions on the center display.
