Note the following points when this mobile phone is stored
for long periods without being used.
• Storing the mobile phone in a fully charged state
(immediately after it has finished charging), or storing it in a
state where the battery is completely depleted (in a state
such that you cannot power on the mobile phone), might
result in lower performance or shorter life for the internal
battery.
• We recommend storing the mobile phone when the battery
is at an appropriate level of charge (at about 40% battery
level remaining as a guide).
The earpiece is located at the upper right of the unit (Z
P.43). When making calls, make sure that the earpiece is
held closely to your ear.
Notes on Handling Adapters
Charge the battery in a place with an appropriate ambient
temperature of 5°C to 35°C.
Charge the battery where:
• There is very little humidity, vibration, and dust.
• There are no land-line phones, television sets or radios
nearby.
While you are charging, the adapter may become warm.
This is not a malfunction, so you can keep on using.
Do not use the DC adapter for charging the battery when
the car engine is not running.
The car battery could go flat.
When using the power outlet having the disengaging
prevention mechanism, observe the instructions given in
that instruction manual.
Do not give a strong shock. Also, do not deform the
charging terminal.
Malfunction may result.
