Receiving Early Warning "Area Mail"
When an Area Mail message is received, you are notified of
its receipt by a warning tone and vibration which are unique
to Area Mail. Its contents are displayed automatically.
• The volume level of the warning tone and the vibrations are
fixed and thus cannot be changed.
• When the mobile phone is purchased, the warning tone is set
to sound even in Silent mode. You can adjust the settings to
ensure the tones will not sound (Z P.174).

Set whether to receive an Area Mail message, also set the
performance when you receive it.

Silent mode Set whether the warning tone is to sound in

Ring time Set the duration for which the warning tone is to
sound.
Check ring You can check the operations performed
