• Take the new Pick Roller and place the retaining hook on the end of
the shaft closest to the black sponge roller.

Bushing
• Place the bushing that has the flat spot on the end of the roller shaft
where you placed the retaining hook. Make sure the large diameter
of the bushing is facing the inside of the shaft. Also, make sure the
hook and bushing are as close to the roller as possible.

• Place the round bushing into
the mounting hole at the rear
of the ADF.

• Place the end of the roller
shaft with the bushing into
the retaining bracket in the
center of the ADF.
• Now slide the roller shaft
into the mounting hole and
bushing in the back of the
scanner.
• Make sure the bushings
are placed in the mounting
holes properly and move
the retaining hook into the
groove in the roller shaft.
• Reinstall the Pick Roller
Cover and tighten the two
thumb screws.
