Finishing with optional Surround and Bezel
1. Ensure the top and bottom nailing flanges are attached to the fireplace in the correct vertical position for
2. Ensure the left and right side nailing flanges are removed, and discarded appropriately (Page 19).
3. Remove the two filler/angle brackets (Figure 41), and discard appropriately.
4. Attach the top non-combustible fiber board to the top nailing flange, and secure using installer-supplied screws
5. Cover the lower portion of the fireplace with finish material.
6. Skim-coat all drywall, and mud all joints.
7. After finishing all interior walls, install the glass door, if not already installed (Page 57).
8. Attach the surround, and secure using the nine (9) screws provided with the surround kit (Figure 45).
9. Attach the bezel to the glass door, if not already done (Page 58).
