SETTING POSITIONS OF SL/DF DIALS
7. Check and make sure if a shaft "i" is parallel to a shaft "h". Fasten a screw "j".
(See Fig. 2&3)
8. Check and make sure if gear shifting levers catch gears inside of SL/DF dials
as shown in Fig. 4. " A " shows the position where a tool " A " goes through.
9. Check and make sure if the hook of the looper follower "c" falls into the V-shaped hollow
of the upper looper shifting cam "b". (See adjustment of the page F "POSITION OF
THE PDISPLAY DRUM INDICATOR & UPPER LOOPER SHIFTING CAM" and
view A ). Tighten screw "a".
10. If stopper spring plate "p" gives too heavy or light pressure on SL dial, loosen screw "n"
and adjust the position of stopper spring plate by sliding upper or lower. Tighten screw
"n". (See Fig. 3).
