Clearance Of Needle Guards - ELNA 745 Service Manual

1. Remove: Mains lead - Needle plate.
2. Insert 2 new needles (No.90) in "R1" and "R2" positions.
3. Check height - clearance - angular position of lower looper.
4. Turn the handwheel towardas you and bring needle bar in its lowest position.
5. Loosen screws "a".
6. Shift needle guard "c" back and forth to obtain a clearance of 0.05mm between needle
guard "c" and needles, tighten both screws "a".
