As in series 100 and 200, suffix C indicates operation at 0.5’’ W.C. at high speed. Series 300 features an extended capacity with the addition of a 23 KWatt model. Please note that the 23 KWatt model is ONLY offered on Series 300.

    2.0 Important safety information • WARNING – BASIC SAFETY WARNINGS The initial electrical connection and subsequent service MUST be done by a qualified electrician in accordance with this manual AND ELECTRICAL CODES HAVING JURISDICTION IN YOUR AREA. This unit is intended and approved for use with heating ducts. Use without ducts will result in untested operation that could result in property damage, accident or DEATH.

    5.0 Operation modes 5.1 Series 100 (models 115, 118 and 119) On a Series 100 furnace, the operation is as follows: Heating mode (model 115 as example): When the thermostat is not calling for heat: • The elements are not energized and the blower is OFF.
  • Page 13 When the thermostat is calling for heat: • After a delay, the blower will start on low speed. • After a second delay, the first 5KW element will energize. • After a third delay, the second 5KW element will energize. When the demand is satisfied: •...
  • Page 14 When the cooling thermostat is in demand: • The blower will start at the highest speed. When the cooling demand is satisfied: The blower will keep running on low speed. Nonetheless the following points should be checked annually: REPLACE the air filter. The model used is a standard 20” X 20” X 1” thick paper air filter found at any hardware store.
