Shoulder Press
Muscles Used: Deltoids, Core, Lower Body Stabilizers
Place Yokes into the Yoke holes on the Platform and secure with Yoke Pins. Add correct color and number of bands, securing
safety stops. Have the client stand in line with the Yokes and grab the handles. Start with the hands at the top of the shoul-
ders. With correct knee and back mechanics, have client push the handles directly overhead until their arms are almost fully ex-
tended. There should be no motion throughout the torso or lower body. Keep neck neutral.
Variations: Standing on a BOSU® Ball, Single Arm, Standing slightly further in front of or behind the level of the Yokes to in-
crease the emphasis on the core stabilizers.
Hamstring Curl
Muscles Used: Hamstrings, Core, Glutes, Quads, Ankle Stabilizers
Adjust Chest Plate to the bottom of the Spine with arms adjusted so that Yokes are below the client's knee. Use the SBR Foot
Attachment and add correct color and number of bands, securing safety stops. Facing the Spine, have the client balance on
non-working leg. A stick can be used for balance, but be sure to remove once client's balance has improved. With correct
knee and back mechanics, have client flex the working leg until the heel is as far back as it can go without moving the knee.
There should be no motion throughout the torso or rest of the lower body. Keep neck neutral.
