Connecting S-Video Signals
1. Connect the S-VIDEO input terminal
(AV2) on the TV to the S-Video output
terminal on the AV equipment using the
S-video cable.
2. Connect the AUDIO input terminal
(AV2) on the TV to the audio output
terminals on the AV equipment using an
appropriate cable.
If the Composite and S-Video signals are connected simultaneously, the TV will set the S-video
input as the first priority. If you wish to use the Composite signal input, please remove the S-
video connection temporarily.
Connecting Component Video Signals
1. Connect the Component Cb/Pb Cr/Pr
input terminals (COMPONENT) on the
TV to the Component Cb/Pb Cr/Pr
output terminals on the AV equipment
using the Component video cable.
2. Connect the AUDIO input terminals
(COMPONENT) on the TV to the
audio output terminals on the AV
equipment using an appropriate cable.
1.Of the currently available video signal types, Component video input offers the best quality.
Component video output is available on progressive scan DVD players and Digital television
decoders. The image quality with this type of input is superior to that obtained with S-video.
All High Definition Television signals must go through this input.
