Throttlecontrol
Thethrottlecontrolislocatedonthe rearofthe engine.It regulates the speed ofthe
engineandwill shutoffthe enginewhen moved into the STOP p osition.
Primer
Depressing t he primerforces fueldirectlyintothe
engine's carburetor t o aid incold-weather s tarting.
Electric Starter Button
Pressing t he electricstarterbuttonengages t he engine'selectricstarterwhen
pluggedinto a 120V powersource.
Electric Starter Outlet
Requires t he useof athree-prongoutdoorextension cordanda 120V powersource/
wall outlet.
OilFill
Engine oil levelcanbechecked andoil addedthroughtheoil fill.
GasCap
Unthread t he gascapto addgasoline tothe fuel tank.
Auger
Whenengaged, the augerbladesrotateanddrawsnowintothe augerhousing.
ChuteAssembly
Snow drawninto the augerhousingisdischarged o ut the chuteassembly.
SkidShoes
Position theskid shoes b ased o nsurface c onditions. Adjust u pward f orhard-packed
snow. Adjust d ownward when operating o ngravel orcrushed rock surfaces.
Auger Control

Theaugercontrolislocated on the left handle.Squeeze t he controlgripagainst t he
handleto engage the augerandstartsnowthrowingaction.Release to stop.
DriveControl/Auger Control Lock

handle to engage the wheeldrive.Release t ostop.
Thedrivecontrolalsolocksthe augercontrolsoyoucanoperatethe chute
directional c ontrolwithoutinterruptingthesnowthrowingprocess. Ifthe auger
controlisengaged simultaneously w iththe drivecontrol,the operator canrelease
the augercontrol ( onthe left handle) andthe augerswill remainengaged. R elease
bothcontrolsto stopthe augers andwheeldrive.

Tochange the directioninwhichsnowisthrown,squeeze t he buttonon the
chutecontrolleverandpivotthe chutecontrolleverto the rightor to the
left.
Tochange the angle/distance w hichsnowisthrown,pivotthe chutecontrol
leverforwardto tilt the chutedownandbackward to tilt the chuteup.
WheelSteeringControls
Theleft andright wheelsteeringcontrols arelocated on the underside of the
handles. Squeeze the rightcontrolto turn right;squeeze the left controltoturn left.
