Troubleshooting
Check the voltage of each end.
Charge and/or replace the battery.
Check the ID setting.
Check the transmitting/receiving data path
Remove the cause of the trouble.
Readjust the PWR adjustable resistance
Check the speech IC (U500) and
surrounding circuits
Check the DTMF path
Check the ring detecting circuit and
surrounding circuits
Replace the MIC
Check the transmitting path
Replace the receiving unit
Check the receiving path
Replace the battery
Check the contact terminal

Test Mode Procedure

4.1 BASE SET TEST MODE
1) How to Enter the Test Mode
You may enter the test mode by shorting the test point of "Test Mode" with the adaptor connected to
the base and power supplied. Looping will be done according to the shorting times as follow:
Test stand by status
Power OFF: Exit from the Test Mode

20 channels, TX Enable
"Test Mode" TP: Short twice
20 channels, TX Data "1" transmitting
"Test Mode" TP: Short three times
42 channels, RX Enable
