About WheelWitness HD Pro Dashboard Camera The camera is designed to automatically turn ON when it receives power to the DC IN port. It also automatically shuts down and records for a few extra seconds using the internal battery when the power is shut off (to avoid any sudden power cuts and possibly corrupting data). -

Menu Operation Press “MENU” button to activate the Menu. Use “UP” and “DOWN” button to highlight the desired line and then press “OK” button to enter sub- menu. Confirm the selection by using the UP and DOWN button to select the item and press “OK” to confirm setting. -

Setting this function to OFF turns off the splitting function as well as the LOOP function. This way the card records until FULL, and then STOPS recording, displaying the message “Card Full”. For normal operating conditions, we suggest you use 2, 5 or 10min. For USA use NTSC. [TV OUT] [NTSC] / [PAL] Date & Time Adjust the current date and time. [Date & Time] select Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute - Press [OK] to save setting. Select year using the MENU button and set the year using the UP and DOWN button. -

You can turn off the LED backlight for the buttons. [LED] [On] / [Off]. Screen Saver Using the Screen Saver function you can set the screen to turn off after 3 or 5 minutes once the camera turns on and starts recording. This is convenient to prevent the display from distracting the driver. -

Hardwiring Depending on your vehicle and where your cigarette lighter is located, you can choose to use the included power adapter, or opt for our “hardwire” stealth kit.
