Jabiru 2200 & 3300 Aircraft Engines
Check oil level & replenish as necessary
Check engine is not over-full with oil
Check installation: improper gaps or insufficient pressure
head produce low airflow which can lead to elevated
temperatures.
Check gauge, sender & wiring. Renew as necessary.
Engine overhaul
Inspect, replace back after cleaning.
stuck in the valve will produce low pressure.
Check oil level & replenish as necessary
Check continuity of sender wire.
Check sender body is earthed to engine
Check gauge – replace with known good gauge if
possible.
Adjust oil pressure relief valve
Adjust to proper idle speed (900 RPM)
Check switch & cables. Repair/replace as necessary
Conduct cooling run at 900 RPM
Oil change, use specified oil
Repair of cylinder head necessary
Seal leaks
Oil change, use specified oil
Repair/engine overhaul necessary
Reduce oil level in sump
The Jabiru Engine is not approved for deliberate
negative G operations. Strong turbulence in flight can
have a similar effect: reduced RPM /speed is
recommended when operating in strong turbulence.
