6-4-3. Basic Operations of the Controller
To check if the self-diagnosis is executing normally after
the controller is turned on or reset
:
( 1) If the red LED remains lighted after the power is on or
reset.

Is the RESET signal at High?
•
TL7700 (&B) and the peripheral circuit are
bad.
•
RESET from the host and the circuit are bad.
•
NDC848 is bad.
(2) If the red LED remains lighted after the green LED
lights with the power on or reset,

Change the controller and reconfirm.
•
If the green LED lights after the change, this indicates
that the controller is bad
.
•
If the status remains the same, then the drive or the
periphery is bad.
6-4-4. Operation Check with the Self-Diagnostic Switch
(1) Read Test
•
RD (SW3) switch is ON.
•
ST (SW1) switch is ON.

tems are normal.
