Use the playback controls and the preview window to cue the
desired recording start position on the DV tape.
The playback controls consist of the following buttons. You can use these
buttons to operate an HDV camcorder connected by i.LINK cable, from the
computer screen.

Click the (Record) button.
Video capture starts.
When a blank area on the tape is reached, capture stops automatically.

To stop video capture at any time, click

Repeat steps 6 to 7 until you have finished capturing all the
desired video clips.
Captured video clips are added, in order, to the list at the bottom of the capture
screen.
