Getting started

Once you've installed your battery, you can turn on your phone and
start using it.

Turning on your phone

Press and hold the POWER/LOCK button.
When you turn on the phone for the first time, you will be prompted
to set up your phone. For more information on how to set up your
phone for the first time, see "Setting up your phone for the first time."

Turning off your phone

If you do not need to use your phone, you can turn the power off to
save battery life.
1. If the display is off, briefly press the POWER/LOCK button to
turn the display back on.
2. Unlock the phone screen. See "Unlocking the screen" in this
chapter for details.
3. Press and hold the POWER/LOCK button for a few seconds.
4. When the Phone options menu appears, tap Power off.
