Ensure that the operator reads and understands the decals and consults the manuals before maintenance or operation.

    Safety Operating & Maintenance Manual Never operate unit with guards, covers or screens removed. Keep hands, hair, clothing, tools, blow gun tips, etc. well away from moving parts. Compressed Air Compressed air can be dangerous if incorrectly handled. Before doing any work on the unit, ensure that all pressure is vented from the system and that the machine cannot be started accidentally.

A description of each panel device is as follows: 1. Compressor Disch. Pressure Gauge: Indicates pressure in receiver tank, normally from 0 psi (kPa) to the rated pressure of the machine.

Tighten an additional 1/2 to 3/4 of a revolution.     Maintenance Section. All filters and filter elements for air and compressor lubricant must be obtained through Ingersoll-Rand to assure the proper size and filtration for the compressor. Compressor Oil Change These units are normally furnished with an initial supply of oil sufficient to allow operation of the unit for approximately 6 months or 1000 hours, whichever comes first.
