5.5. No Reading: Inflating further

If the cuff was not inflated sufficiently, the measurement
process is stopped after a few seconds and a flashing ar-
Cuff Pressure
row pointing upwards appears in the display.
Too Low
Inflate again to at least 20 mmHg higher than the
previous value.
The instruction to inflate further can appear several times
if the pressure is still not sufficient.
Attention:
If the cuff is inflated too far (over 300 mmHg), a "HI"
appears in the display and a warning signal is sounded.
The cuff pressure must then be immediately re-
Cuff Over
leased using the quick-release valve at the
Inflated
pump ball.
As soon as the cuff is inflated sufficiently and the mea-
surement is proceeding, continue as described under
points d–e in section 5.4.

5.6. Discontinuing a measurement

If it is necessary to interrupt a blood pressure mea-
Quick Release
surement for any reason (e.g. the patient feels
for Cuff Pressure
unwell), press the quick release valve at the pump
ball. The device then immediately lowers the cuff
pressure automatically.
5.7. Memory – displaying the last measurement
3 sec.
With the unit in the OFF position, Press and hold the
MEMORY button for at least 3-seconds. The screen
will go blank with the exception of the MR symbol
in the lower left. Release the button. The last reading
will be displayed for approximately 5 seconds and
MR
can be recalled again.
Further information
Measurements should not occur soon after each other, since the results will be inaccurate. Wait for several
minutes in a relaxed position, sitting or lying, before you repeat a measurement.
