d . The meter will beep once to let you know that you have
applied enough blood .
Notes:
•
Once you start applying blood, you have 60 seconds to fill
the test strip on the same side of the test strip only . The
time you have left is shown as a countdown on the screen .
•
The time that the meter takes to display a result depends
on your blood glucose level . The higher your blood
glucose level, the longer it takes to get a result .
•
The meter turns off after 2 minutes of inactivity . Remove
and reinsert the unused test strip to restart the meter .
