a default Port of 5180.
To change these fields in the AMAS software, on the menu, select Settings, then Data Pa-

General Application Layout

There are many square status indicators in the various windows. These are colored to vi-
sually show the status of fields. Red = Error, Yellow = Warning or Caution, Green = OK,
Light Gray = Ignored. When an error or warning is detected, the relevant status indicator
will change color. It will STAY SET - even if the field changes back to an "OK" value -
until the "Reset Statistics" button is clicked.
Similarly, field verbiage values may include an "(!)" = Error or "(?)" = Warning or Caution.
These values show the current status for the field.

Main AMAS Window (Figure 5-1):

This window shows the overall high-level status of all of the input signals. It is divided into
several sections:
Hardware Communication - shows and controls the overall communication with
the hardware.
Summary - Shows an overall picture of the system status. The 4 Signals indicators
show the status of the equivalent 4 inputs on the hardware. The Programs indicators
show the overall metadata status for each of the 8 Dolby Digital programs.
Statistics - Shows when the first and last error occurred (since last reset). Shows what
edit rules are being used to determine metadata errors. The "Reset Statistics" button
can be clicked to reset the statistics as well as all status indicators. The larger indicator
to the right of this button shows the overall metadata status.
Dolby E - Shows the status of Dolby E field metadata values.
General - Shows non-metadata statuses. There is also a "MD Src" selector in this sec-
tion. This is a drop-down box that allows you to select which metadata source to use.
NOTE: this is currently functional only on the LA5180 unit.
