My machine doesn’t say the water to cleaner ratio. Where do I locate that? I haven’t used this machine in years

You can find the water to cleaner ratio information in the section about filling the Clean Water Solution Tank. It states to fill the measuring cap with cleaning solution two times (approximately 2 oz.) and pour it into the solution tank, then fill the tank with hot tap water.

The Hoover Dual Power may not remove water from the carpet if the dirty water tank is full. When full, a shut-off float rises and stops suction. Emptying the dirty water tank should restore function.

The hose on the Hoover Dual Power is accessible from the front of the unit, where a flap can be opened to plug in the 8-ft hose. It connects separately from the tank and brushes, allowing the use of different cleaning tools.
