Setting Exposure Compensation *
Rash Exposure Compensation*
Set flash exposure compensation if the flash exposure of the subject does not
come out as desired This feature also works with external EX-sedes Speedlites.
_ SeJect [Flash exp somp].
÷ Under the [_=] tab, select [Flash exp
comp], then press <8>
_, Set the exposure compensation amout_t.
_ To make the flash exposure brighter,
press the < _ > key (Increased exposure)
Or to make it darker, press the <,_ > key
(Decreased exposure)
_ After setting the flash exposure
compensation amount, press <8>.
_ _?_en you press the shutter button
halfway, the <_> icon and flash
exposure compensation amount will be
displayed on the LCD monitor and the
<_> icon will appear in the viewfinder.
_ After taking the picture, do step 2 to
reset the flash exposure
compensation amount to zero
A bright flash exposure Flashexposurec0m[Jensati0n makingit darker
if the [t_ Custom Punctior_s (C,Pr_)] menu's [Auto Lighting Optimizer]
(p.156) i_ set to [0: Enable], the exp0sure compensation _nd flash expo_ur e
compensation may not be effective. Set it to [t: Disable] if _ou w_r_ t°
obtain the results of the exposure compensatior_ setting.
