AF:
Changing the AF Mode* __
You can change the AF mode to suit different subjects such as group
photos, animals, and sports.
'_ Press the <J_ AF> button.
_//,[AF mode] will appear
'_ Select the AF mode.
_ Press the < _ > key to select the AF
mode, then press <8>.
!_ Focus the subject.
_ Aim the AF point over the subject and
press the shutter button halfway. The
camera will then autofocus in the
selected AF mode
Selecting the Best AF Mode
ONE SHOT (One-Shot AF)
Suitable for still subjects When you press the shutter button halfway,
the camera will focus only once You can also recompose the shot
A| FOCUS (At Focus AF}
Suitable when you cannot decide between One-Shot AF or AI Servo
AF. Depending on the subject's movement, the camera will switch
automatically to One-Shot AF or A[ Servo AR
* When focus is achieved in the A[ SERVO AF mode, the beeper wiJIsound
softly. The focus confirmat{on light <@> in the viewflnder will not light
* A_stands for Artificial Intelligence
A[ SERVO (AU 8ervo AF}
Suitable for moving subjects. While you hold down the shutter button
halfway, the focus and exposure setting wB be adjusted
continuously.
* Even when focus is achieved, the beeper will not sound A_so,the focus
confirmatfon light <0> in the viewfinder wfll not light
