Grease Filter

NOTE: The grease lter should be cleaned frequently; minimum every two months, or more for
frequent to heavy use.
1.
Remove the grease lters individually by pulling on the latch. This will disengage the lter from
the hood. Tilt the lter downward and remove.
2.
Wash the lters, taking care not to bend them. Allow them to dry completely before reinserting.
3.
When inserting the lters, make sure that the latch handle is visible from the outside.
4.
Align the rear of the lter tabs with the slots in the crease. Pull out the latch, push lter into
position and release.
5.
Make sure the lter is securely engaged after assembly.
Oil Capture Tray
1.
The oil capture tray is located inside the unit. It can be revealed by removing the center lter.
2.
The oil capture tray collects excess grease and oil from within the unit. It should be cleaned
frequently and should not be more than half full.
3.
Allow it to dry completely before installing.
